#ModelOfTheMonth: Kelsey White

Hey Lovelies!

Welcome to another #ModelMonday :) This week I am going to do a feature on a great model that I hope you all take a look at after reading this article! Below is my interview withKelsey White, she's  23-years-old and based out of Atlanta, GA. Follow her on social media + look over her work at the end of this interview!

Name:  Kelsey Marie

Age: 23

Location: Atlanta, GA

How Did You Get Your Start In Modeling?

I was scouted by an agency in Denver three years ago who was specifically looking for redheads for a print job! I am [now] signed with BMG and do Runway, commercial, print, and editorial.

What Other Doors Has Modeling Opened Up For You?

I feel that nothing in this industry is mutually exclusive. (I am an actor as well.) Both avenues compliment the other very well, and I use skills from both professions in various aspects of my life and work. For a lot of acting jobs I am booked for the role of "model" and I've gotten modeling jobs through being able to act. Additionally, I have  been able to travel a lot working in the New York, Miami, Atlanta, and Denver markets. My Instagram (@kelseymarie333) also caught the attention of a casting director on TLC and I have an episode coming out with the network in January (can't tell yet what it's about but it is definitely random lol).

Is Your Drive/Passion The Same As When You Started Modeling? Why Or Why Not?

It is somewhat the same, however, my passion has evolved into wanting to work behind the scenes and being creative in other ways than just in front of the camera.

What Are Your Goals For Modeling And Outside Of Modeling?

My main goal for modeling is to be on the cover of a major fashion magazine, whether it's for acting or modeling, and also keep building and expanding my brand in any way possible.  My goals outside of modeling are to have a reoccurring role on a tv series, keep traveling, write a children's book, and keep meeting new people from different cultures.

What Was Your Best Modeling Experience/Memory?

Walking in NYFW for designer Linda Rowe Thomas.

What Was Your Worst Modeling Experience/Memory?

Working at a showroom during prom dress season having to stand in heels for 8 hours a day the whole week, I think my feet were bleeding by the end of the first day!

What Do You Hope To Leave As A Legacy With Your Modeling?

To inspire others to pursue an artistic path and not be afraid to start over somewhere new.

Who Is Your Inspiration In The Modeling World?

Coco Rocha and Karlie Kloss

What's Your Favorite Quote?

It always seems impossible until it's done- Nelson Mandela
